The whole premise of our website is that we are normal people just like our clients. We’ve tried a number of different ways to get in shape and have found something that works really well for ourselves and our clients. We’ve done an awful lot of reading and learning as we go, to find why what we found to work, does work!
All workouts are approved and checked by fitness professionals and our eating principles and plans are given the OK by nutritionists.

As with any eating, fitness or nutrition plan, there’s no “one size fits all”. Different people have different goals and as everyone’s body is different, their mentor will plan a solution that’s right for them. This plan can be altered as time goes on, to find what works best for that specific client.

You’d be surprised how often this happens. People get great results initially then the progress slows down. There’s no one answer to this but that’s what your mentor is there for. If your fat loss results have slowed, you may need a treat day to reset your metabolism, you may be eating the wrong things without knowing it and may need to keep a food diary to show your mentor. If fitness progress has slowed, you may need to up the game and do longer exercises, maybe put in a rest day, etc. Speak to your mentor and they can help you look into it and get you back on track.
Yes, absolutely. In the members’ zone, there is a section on the detox phase that explains this in full detail. Many people feel dreadful during the detox phase as the toxins begin to leave your system. Your body is effectively goes cold turkey on the nasties that you’ve stopped taking in! The positive effects of detoxing to begin with are explained in the detox phase section as well as what side effects you can expect. Your body will thank you in the long run. Keep drinking plenty of water and stick with it!
We love circuit style bodyweight training as it takes such a short time to have a great effect on the metabolism promoting fat loss. We find it to be the most efficient form of exercise for busy people to add exercise to their eating plan. If you would prefer to do running, cycling or swimming, you can still use the high intensity principles of short bursts of intense exercise followed by short periods of rest as it’s this that boosts your metabolic rate. For example, if you like running, try running round a football pitch. Sprint the length, then jog gently the width whilst you get your breath back. Sprint the next length, then jog the next width and so on. This technique is proven to be more beneficial for fat loss than steady state cardio where you would jog at the same pace for much longer. Even if you are a regular exerciser, this technique can really improve fitness and help you achieve better results.

Don’t underestimate the power of hydration. Drinking the right amount of water has a multitude of health benefits and really must be done. If you are struggling, speak to you mentor for tips. Some examples are setting reminders in your phone to drink a little on regular occasions through the day and also adding sliced fruit to a jug of filtered water for those that find plain water boring.
We recommend Juice Plus products for a number of reasons. Firstly, because we started off as Juice Plus customers, we’ve taken the products for a couple of years and they’ve worked for us and we wouldn’t ever be without them!
